Arrakis at night, worms unleashed. by MrTinyx Arrakis at night, worms unleashed. by MrTinyx
So....I always wanted to do some Frank Herbert's Dune related work, but almost each time I tried, I was not satisfied with the outcome.

Those books have always been special to me. They made me love Sci-fi, and more broadly literature.

I hope that you'll like my piece as I liked doing it, and that you'll forgive its flaws, because nobody except Herbert can really depict Dune's world as brilliantly as it was written.

I think it's beautiful.
One of the problems with being a creative person is you always see things as imperfect and  what you should/could have done 'better'.  But those are things 98% of people don't see. Sometimes its good because it makes you make things better but after a while it simply gets in the way of your creativity because you're never done tinkering with it. It's a delicate balance figuring out when to say 'it's done'.

Thank you very much HugIt think you're right. It was, in deed difficult for me to say "I'm finished with this one, it's done" but after a while, when I stoped thinking about what can be done to improve it, I ended up liking it... and I'm glad you do too :D (Big Grin)

I run into the same problem with my writing. It just goes along with being creative. I'm sure Michelangelo would complain about parts of the Sistine chapel he wasn't happy with and wanted to do over although the rest of the world considers it perfect.
